Significant others – informal social networks between policy and everyday life
Significant Others is a NOS-HS founded research network involving University of Copenhagen, Roskilde University Center, Lund University and Oslo University.
About the group
Research in informal social relations is undergoing rapid development with conceptual and methodological advances being made and converging across disciplines. In three workshops, this network will address these challenges and establish a critical mass for Nordic researchers to synthesize the promising insights and enable coordinated collaboration with important international research environments. The network will further develop new methodological strategies integrating insights from both qualitative and quantitative research traditions.
