Genealogy of Feminism From Descartes to Irigaray – the Philosophical History of Modern Feminism (completed)

About the project

In this project she will investigate the history of feminism genealogically, from within a systematic philosophical perspective, where feminism will be read as result and consequence of (certain) historically philosophical demands. Ingeborg claims that the common understanding of feminism as three separate political waves, is both non-historical and arbitrary, not least scientifically questionable. The aim of this project is to develop new knowledge on the history of feminism, and on its ideological, canonical and philosophical conditions.
