About the project
One aim is to study if, and if so, how diagnosis and medication influence the development of self and identity in children? A further aim will be to look at the relationship between the ADHD diagnosis and the medication trajectory, the parents interpretation of the child’s behaviour and the child’s perception of self? Individual and biographical differences will be emphasised, as will the child’s gender, social class and ethnicity.
