About the project
The project is part of the University of Oslo’s Action Plan for Diversity, Gender Equality and Inclusion 2021–24. The project will result in a report that will form the basis for the concrete diversity measures discussed in the action plan. The report will be written based on a review of existing knowledge based on research on Norway and the Nordic countries, a summary of experiences relating to diversity and inclusion measures at UiO over the course of the past decade, and a survey of all staff at the university. Based on this data, we will discuss the paradoxes of and approaches to diversity within academia in general and UiO in particular.
