About the project
This research project addresses the interface between changing gender norms in the family and new subjectivities in late modern society. The project is a study of parent-child relationships in gender-equal families and focuses on the Norwegian ideals of “do-it-your-self” enrichment of children of school-age. It is partly based on longitudinal research with the families, including a special focus on the division of labour among the parents.
